Enterprising Barnsley has made real positive progress in supporting Barnsley SME's in the first half of the year ,with a strong performance from the Enterprise Coaching activity accounting for 360 companies supported, and the creation of 236 new jobs across the borough.

The results indicate that Barnsley SME's are starting to reap the benefits from the support, however there's still work to be done in attracting small businesses with the potential for high growth into the Enterprise Hubs. Further work will be undertaken this summer to entice businesses to this particular offer.
