DECC is looking for a supplier to provide power sector analytical data and research to DECC which can be used to better inform and shape DECC's Structural Reform Priorities.

This analysis and research should cover the power sector and include renewable technologies (including offshore/onshore wind, biomass, solar pv, marine and tidal, hydro, geothermal, energy-from-waste, anaerobic digestion and renewable heat technologies), thermal fossil fuel plant, CCS and nuclear.

The service should also provide up-to-date analysis on the key issues facing the sector such as: policy, energy markets, economics, supply chain, technology and finance and provision of PPAs.

Data on pricing structures of key components such as wind turbines, solar panels and key thermal generation items should also be provided.
