Covid Business support
Following the Prime Minister’s announcements on 22nd February 2021, we can now release the latest round of Business Support Grant payments. This is only for those businesses that have a live Business Rates liability. Further updates will be provided as soon as possible about those that do not have a Business Rates account and have benefitted from the local Discretionary Grant payments.
We are awaiting information and guidance in regards to the ‘Restart Scheme’ announced by the Chancellor on 3/3/21 in the 2021 budget announcement.
See a summary on business support as part of the budget announcement here.
Meanwhile, the Phase 4 business grant information is now online. Below, you’ll find a summary of all grants currently available for businesses in Barnsley.
Business support packages are in place to allow for ongoing business costs, rather than lost income. If you’re suffering from lost income, see advice here.
We also have support for employment skills and access to jobs in Barnsley here.
Did you know that we also offer support for start-up businesses (under 3 years) through our Launchpad service. Why not get in touch?
