Deep learning has emerged in the last decade as an extremely powerful tool for tasks in computer vision, natural language processing, and other pattern recognition tasks.
Experts from the Communication and Computing Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) are running a workshop on Deep Learning and GPU Computing. The workshop will introduce the main ideas and technologies within the field of Deep Learning and discuss how these technologies can be used to improve business operations. Attendees will use hands-on programming exercises to design and develop image classification applications using cutting-edge Deep Learning technologies. The application will also be demonstrated on a humanoid robot.
Aimed at engineers and software developers, you will develop an understanding of how to apply state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to real world problems. Registrations must be received by Monday 21st May to give sufficient time to order equipment for each delegate.
