Transform SY opens applications for its second cohort in South Yorkshire

Transform SY– the people accelerator focused on building entrepreneurs is opening an early application window for its 2nd cohort in South Yorkshire

Transform SY has opened applications for its second cohort, giving South Yorkshire founders the opportunity to save their spot in this groundbreaking business accelerator, it was announced today.

The Transform SY programme is a bespoke, intense one-to-one accelerator that aims to challenge entrepreneurs, take them out of their comfort zone and unleash their innovative leadership and growth potential. Powered by Entrepreneurial Spark, a leader in the entrepreneur support industry with a decade of experience and thousands of entrepreneurs supported all over the world, the programme is currently delivering its first cohort, consisting of 18 leaders from South Yorkshire and creating an additional 10 new jobs – just one example of the success already achieved.

You are eligible to apply for Transform SY if you are:

• A founder of a business enabled by tech

• Based in South Yorkshire

• Your business is an SME (<£50m turnover)

And that’s not the only reason to apply early – if you submit your application  for Transform SY between April 18th and May 1st and get accepted onto the  programme, you:

• Get exclusive access to Transform SY’s mentorship pool currently comprised of tech  entrepreneurs and professionals with expertise ranging between digital advertising, 

international trade and more;

• Are invited to Transform SY’ closing events, such as Fireside Chat (get insights from  founders that have built fantastic businesses in South Yorkshire); Building a Team 

(what it takes to build a great team in the long-term); and Cohort 1 Showcase 

(celebrating the successes achieved by Transform SY’s Cohort 1);

• Join the community – you can book an ‘entrepreneurial Power Hour’ – a designated  session for you where you can bring your current business challenges and get advice.

Transform SY is a joint initiative between Capital Enterprise, experts in tech startup ecosystems, and Barnsley Council, accelerating the development of a flourishing entrepreneurial community in South Yorkshire. It is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Transform SY is delivered with the support of UKSE and South Yorkshire MCA. Its first cohort will conclude in June 2022 and Cohort 2 will commence in July 2022. The  programme is fully free for business owners but demands high level of commitment in  return of up to 3-4 hours per week.
